Dallas Cowboys Receive Horrific Prediction For 2024 Season
Jim Rassol / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Dallas Cowboys emerged from the offseason with a sense of disappointment hanging over their heads, setting them apart as the most underwhelming team in the NFC East.

While other teams in the division made strides to improve, the Cowboys appeared stagnant, or perhaps even regressed.

This sentiment was echoed by NFL analyst Craig Carton, who boldly forecasted the Cowboys finishing at the bottom of their division in the upcoming season.

Carton went as far as suggesting that even the Washington Commanders could outperform them.

“The Cowboys are going to come in dead last in the NFC East.”

However, such predictions might lean towards exaggeration.

Despite the Commanders’ notable improvements, including the acquisition of a promising rookie quarterback, their adjustment period under new coaching staff implies a potential learning curve.

Meanwhile, the New York Giants closed out the previous season with a strong performance. Despite concerns surrounding Daniel Jones, their defensive lineup remains formidable, further bolstered by additions to their receiving corps.

The Philadelphia Eagles, boasting considerable talent, emerged as offseason victors through strategic moves in free agency, the NFL Draft, and coaching hires.

Though the Cowboys boast undeniable talent, their potential to claim the second spot in the division appears precarious. While their regular season dominance is undeniable, transitioning into legitimate Super Bowl contenders seems improbable, especially given their historical postseason struggles.
